Coastal Comfort Community Project
|
As part of our commitment to giving back to the local pickleball community, the Panhandle Pickleball Club proposed installing a shade structure over the bleachers between the courts as our community initiative. |
The Club is now working in partnership with the County to turn this long-discussed improvement into a reality. Measurements have already been taken, renderings and a quote for the project is now in process. This is no longer just something we've talked about—we have a real opportunity to make it happen.
These courts bring our community together every day. Coastal Comfort is our opportunity to leave something meaningful behind for everyone who plays, watches, visits, and gathers here.
Future Concept

Hutchinson Elementary, the first school on the beach, opened in 1956 and proudly serves 581 students. As a Title I school, many of its families face significant challenges, including homelessness, financial hardship, and limited access to basic necessities. The school supports students living in transitional housing, children from single-parent households, and young people who often carry responsibilities well beyond their years.
Despite these challenges, Hutchinson is a place of opportunity and achievement. The school is an "A" rated Leader in Me Legacy School—the program's highest recognition. Through leadership development, goal setting, and a culture built on trust, responsibility, and service, students are empowered to become confident leaders and successful learners.
Your participation with the Panhandle Pickleball Club directly supports these students and their families, creating opportunities that inspire children to learn, lead, and succeed.
Together, we're serving more than pickleballs—we're serving hope, opportunity, and a brighter futures for local kids. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference.
